1961 Studebaker Lark VI DeLuxe
This 1961 Studebaker Lark VI had a 169.6 c.i.d. 112hp, inline six cylinder engine.
This two door sedan shows the new roofline that most Larks got a for 1961. That was the most visible change from the 1960 design.
The side trim sweeps up a bit from the character line at the corner of the front fenders before continuing along the side of the car. Custom wheels dress up this car.
This is one of the antique cars and trucks we saw at the 2009 Studebaker Drivers Club National Meet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

This little Lark is riding on some pretty slick after market wheels. No optional bumper guards or backup lights though.
Single headlights wer featured on the DeLuxe series while the Regal got quad headlights The Lark name badge appeared on the front fenders just behind the headlights. Roman numerals were used to indcate either an inkline 6 (VI) cylinder or a V8 (VIII) engine.
We don't own these cars, we just saw them at car shows and snapped a few photos.
