1922 Winton Touring Car
By the time this 1922 Winton 6 Touring car was built the company was nearing the end of the line.
Alexander Winton had begun building cars in 1896, forming the Winton Motorcar Company in 1897 in Cleveland, Ohio, but 1924 would see production end.
The 7 passenger 1922 Winton had a 6 cylinder engine that produced 70hp. The car rode on a 132 inch wheelbase.
This very cool Winton is one of the hundreds of cars we saw when we attended the Kruse Auburn Fall Auction, Auburn, IN, Aug. 31 - Sept 4, 2007.
Collector Car Pictures
We don't own these cars, we just saw them at car shows and snapped a few photos.
