1963 Chevy Corvette
Sting Ray
1963 Chevy Corvette was extensively retyled. The front end, with hidden
headlights was a completely new design.
The new 63 Vette fastback coupe had a unique split rear
window.
The 63 Corvette rode on a 98 inch wheelbase and had an
overall length of 175.2 inches.
The standard engive was a 327 c.i.d V8 that produced 250hp.
Optional engines offered as much as 360hp.
A 3 speed manual transmission with a floor mounted shifter
was standard. A 4 speed manual was an option, as was an automatic transmission.
