1962 Chevy Corvette

The 1962 Chevy Corvette looked much like the previous years model. A convertible was the only body with a removable hardtop as an option.

The trim in the side scoop was modified to include a series of short chrome bars instead of the three longer bars of the 61 version. The side scoops were body colored this year

Other styling changes included a blackout grille and chrome rocker panel covers.

The base engine was a 327 cubic inch, 250hp V8.

Wheelbase was 102 inches with an overall length of 177.2 inches.

This Corvette was one of the 10,000 or so cars at the MSRA Back to the 50s' Weekend in St. Paul, MN on June 20 - 22, 2003.
