1964 Studebaker Daytona Wagonaire

The 1964 Studebaker station wagon, the Wagonaire, had a sliding rear roof section that allowed for the carrying of tall cargo in an upright position.

The roof rack on this car is on the stationary front section of the roof. A fixed, non-sliding roof was an option.

An optional rear facing third seat turned the Wagonaire into an eight passenger car.

The Daytona models came with quad headlights as standard equipment.

This is one of the antique cars and trucks we saw at the 2009 Studebaker Drivers Club National Meet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
