1963 Studebaker Lark Daytona
The 1963 Studebaker Lark Daytona was offered as a two door hardtop like this one and as a convertible, Wagonaire station wagon and Cruiser 4 door sedan.
V8 powered cars had a small engine id badge on the grille and also on the trunk lid.
Along with the 259 c.i.d. 180hp V8 the Daytona was also offered with a 169.6 c.i.d., 112hp inline six.
The 63 Lark was only very mildly restyled from the 62 models. The grille was a slightly updated, and all Larks got a new, flatter windshield.
This is one of the antique cars and trucks we saw at the 2009 Studebaker Drivers Club National Meet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Studebaker Car Pictures
The full length side trim spear on the Daytona split and got wider as it approache the back of the car.
The side profile shows the width of the C pillar behind the rear side window. It also shows just how almost flat the new windshield style was.
The Daytona nameplate appears inside the trim spear just ahead of the taillights.
We don't own these cars, we just saw them at car shows and snapped a few photos.
