1955 Studebaker Commander Sedan

The mid level 1955 Studebaker Commander offered a four door sedan in three trim levels, starting with the base Custom then came the Deluxe and even more upscale Regal.

This Commander Regal sedan features the optional rear fender skirts, white wall tires and full wheel covers. A small sun visor is part of the windshield trim.

Commander sedans had a 116.5 inch wheelbase and an overall length of 202 inches.

This is one of the antique cars and trucks we saw at the 2009 Studebaker Drivers Club National Meet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

This Commander shows off a handsome two-tone paint scheme.

The trunk lid carries the Studebaker and Commander names separated by the trunk latch and under the V8 badge.
