1949 Studebaker Commander

In 1949 the Studebaker four door sedans featured rear hinged rear doors.

The grille was slightly modified from the 1948 style. Wrap around bumpers were used on both the front and rear of the 49 Studebakers.

This is one of the antique cars and trucks we saw at the 2009 Studebaker Drivers Club National Meet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
