1927 Stearns Knight CabrioletThe 1927 Stearns-Knight G8 series cars, like this cabriolet, were powered by a 102hp, inline 8 cylinder engine.
A interesting feature of this car is the location of the rumble seat access step, on the leading edge of the rear fender. On other cars with rumble seats this step is usually found on the trailing edge of the rear fender.. These were large cars with a 137.5 inch wheelbase. Check out the painted wood spoke wheels on this grand old car. I saw this car at the Orphan Car Show in Rogers, MN on August 30, 2003 ~ Find: Classic Cars For Sale ~ Find: Classic Car Insurance Collector Car Pictures |
