1927 Star Landau

A 1927 Star Landau two door sedan like this one had a 169 cubic inch, 40hp, 6 cylinder engine. The Landau was near the top of the Star line and, when new, had a base price of $975.00.

The Star was built by the Durant Motor Comapny, which was formed by W.C. Durant in 1921. Durant had been had been instrumental in forming General Motors.

Durant Motor Company built cars and trucks under a number of brand names from 1921 to 1933.
