1968 Pontiac Tempest Custom

The 1968 Pontiac Tempest Custom was one step up from the enty level model.

The Tempest Custom series was offered in 2 and 4 door sedans 2 and 4 door hardtop, station wagon and convertible body styles.

Unlike the body colored front bumper on the GTO, the Tempest Custom front bumper was chrome.

A Tempest Custom badge was located on the leading edge of the front fenders.

Front side marker lights were intergrated into the front parking/turn signal lights just under the front bumper. The rear side marker lights had the V shape of the Pontiac logo and and were located just ahead of the rear bumper.

Like all two door Tempest, and GTO models the Tempest Custom rode on a 112 inch wheelbase.
