1961 Pontiac Tempest Coupe

The compact Tempest was the big news at Pontiac in 1961. The Tempest, like this two door hardtop, had a 194.5 cubic inch four cylinder engine.

The engine was in front and with a transaxel in the rear, connected by a flexible curved dive shaft.
