1959 Pontiac Bonneville

The 1959 Pontiac Bonneville could be told from other models by the four boxed stars on the rear quarter.

The 1959 Pontiac Star Chief had open stars, Catalinas had no stars here. Like all 1959 Pontiacs, the Bonneville had a 389 cubic inch V8 engine.

Backup lights were located in a small round fixture at the base of the twin fin on each rear fender.

I photographed this car at the Twin City Rambler Club show in Lake Elmo, MN in 2000.
