1947 Plymouth DeLuxe Sedan

The Deluxe was the entry level Plymouth for 1947. The 1947 Plymouths were unchanged from the 1946 model.

The Deluxe model, like this one, did not have bright trim around the windshield and rear window like the more expensive Special Deluxe models.

The script on the trailing edge of the hood indicated the model series, Deluxe or Special Deluxe.

The base price for a car like this new was $1,214.00.

Dual windshield wipers were an option, only the drivers side wiper was standard on the Deluxe model.

A Heater and defroster was another option, as were turn signals.

Note the center taillight mounted above the license plate.
