A limited number of Pace car replicas were sold to the public, this is one of them. The cars featured dual hood scoops and wide dual racing stripes.

The standard engine in the 4-4-2 was a 455 c.i.d. V8 that produced 365hp. A 4 speed manual transmission with a floor mounted shifter and dual exhausts rounded out the package.

The 4-4-2 was built on the cutlass body and was available as a two door coupe, two door hardtop or as a convertible. All models rode on a 112 inch wheelbase and had an overall length of about 203 inches.
