1959 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight

Here is a great looking, top ofthe line, 1959 Oldsmobile 98 four door sedan.

The Ninety-Eight came with a 394 cubic inch, 315hp, V8 and and automatic transmission as standard equipment. With a base price of almost $3900.00, driving one of these represented having attained some success.

A rocket ornament, like the one pictured below, adorned each front fender. The Ninety Eight model designation was spelled out on the rear fender.

The Ninet-Eight series rode on a longer wheelbase that other 59 Oldsmobiles and overall length was few inches greater as well.
