1954 Oldsmobile 98 Deluxe Holiday

The hardtop Holiday Coupe was one of three body styles in the top of the line Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight series for 1954.

The others were a convertible and a four door sedan. The 54 Olds 98 Holiday two door hardtop and the 98 convertible were available in standard and Deluxe trim.

This 98 Deluxe Holiday coupe shows the side trim that identified the 98 coupes and convertibles at a glance.

This particular car has the original blue and white interior and a red and white exterior, just as it did when it left the factory.

The Olds 98 Deluxe Holiday hardtop coupe came with a padded dash, leather and cloth upholstry, and full stainless steel wheel covers as standard equipment.

The electric power windows in this car indicate this was manufactured later in the model year. Early 1954 models had hydraulic power windows.

The Ninety-Eight series cars shared a more powerful 185 horsepower version of the 324 cubic inch Rocket V8 engine with the Super 88 series Oldsmobiles.
