1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429

The Boss 429 was the top level of the performance models for the 1969 Mustang. It had a distinctively large hood scoop.

It also has a "Boss 429" decal on the front fenders. The 429 cubic inch motor developed 375 horsepower. All Mustangs were restyled for 1969.

Ford called this fastback body style a Sportsroof.

I saw a bunch of cool collector cars and snapped a few photos at the Stockyard Days Car Show & Swap Meet in New Brighton, Minnesota in August 2000, this is one of the cars on display there.
