1956 Mercury Montclair Phaeton

This is a 1956 Mercury Montclair Phaeton four door hardtop.

It sports "Classic White" paint. It has Dual Exhaust, Fender Skirts and dual chrome outside rear view mirrors. The contrasting color panel running under the side windows was a distinguishing design feature of the Montclair series. Montclair was the top of the line Mercury in 1956.

It has a 312 cubic inch V8 Engine with a 4 barrel
carburator. The Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission was an option.
