1966 Lincoln Continental

In 1966 Lincoln designers gave the car a longer look by getting rid of the fendertip side lights and the side facing tailights.

They also added a ridge a few inches below the already chromed tip-to-tip top edge. This is also the year they introduced the 2 door hardtop.

They made about 36,000 four door hardtops, 16,000 two door hardtops, and about 3100 convertibles.

In 66 they came out with the new 462 CID, 340 hp engine.
