1959 Lincoln Continental Mk IV

The 1959 Lincoln Continental Mark IV was restyled so that the headlights lost their full surround and appeared in the upswept ends of the grille.

Hardtops and sedans had a flat three piece rear window that sloped rearward from the base, like the trailing edge of the roof. The center section of this window could be lowered.

The Continental rode on a 131 inch wheelbase with a 227 inch overall length. Power came from a 430 cubic inch, 350hp V8 engine.

This 59 Lincoln was one of the 10,000 or so cars at the MSRA Back to the 50s' Weekend in St. Paul, MN on June 20 - 22, 2003.
