1959 Lincoln

The 1959 Lincoln was offered in three series, Capri, Premier and Continental Mark IV.

The base Capri and the mid range Premier shared the body style seen on this two door hardtop.

The Continentals had a flat three piece rear window that sloped rearward from the base, like the trailing edge of the roof.

All had a 131 inch wheelbase and 227 inch overall length. Power came from a 430 cubic inch, 350hp V8 engine.

This huge Lincoln is one of the cars we saw at the 7th Annual Summer Madison Classics Car Show & Swap Meet in Waukesha, WI. on August 25, 2002.
