1956 Lincoln Premiere Convertible

In 1956 The Premiere series replaced the Capri as the top of the line Lincolns.

Power for both the Capri and Premiere series came from a new 368 c.i.d. 285hp V8 engine.

A wrap around windshield and new front styling were easily spotted changes from the 55 models.

Wheelbase remained at 123 inches, but overall length grew to 223 inches.

New for 56 were exhaust tips that exited through the bumper extensions just below the tail lights.
