1956 Imperial

This is a 1956 Imperial four door sedan with optional factory air conditioning and hiway hifi record player.

The standard 56 Imperial was also available as a two or four door hardtop. Power came from a 353 cubic inch, 280 hp V8 engine. An automatic transmission was standard equipment.

Other standard equipment included power steering, power brakes and a power front seat.

Fins appeared on Imperials for the first time of in 1956. Tail lights were mounted on top of the fenders.
