1956 Imperial

This is a 1956 Imperial four door sedan with optional factory air conditioning and hiway hifi record player. The standard 56 Imperial was also available as a two or four door hardtop. Power came from a 353 cubic inch, 280 hp V8 engine. An automatic transmission was standard equipment.

Fins appeared on Imperials for the first time of in 1956. Tail lights were mounted on top of the fenders.
