Like all 1940 Fords, the Deluxe Coupe now had sealed beam headlights. This coupe has whitewall tires and chrome wheel trim rings.

Now that the windshield could no longer be opened for ventilation on coupes and sedans, the wipers were relocated to just below it on the cowl.
