1946 Ford
Pickup Truck
This is a really nice looking 1946 Ford Pickup. The owner tells us
that it has a Mustang II front suspension, 5.0 V8 with GT heads, tunnel
ram & 2 450 CFM Holleys.
It also has all Billet aluminium serpentine pulleys, all engine acc
brackets are ceramic coated including tunnel ram.
The engine is backed by an AOD Transmission with a shift kit, a 2500
stall converter and Lokar shift linkage. The rear end is a 9" with
disc brakes and 3.89 gears with locker.
Paint is Sikins poly urathan single stage Bright Red. Flames are House
of Kolors Shimrin Paints. Starts with Sunrise Pearl then curves and
body lines are melting with Tangelo Pearl then tips are Violette Pearl
then all is pin striped in a lite blue then the whole truck is clear
coated four times. The box still needs to be painted but after 16 months
of work it was time to cruise a little.
