1957 Dual-Ghia

The 1957 Dual Ghia was limited production four passenger convertible from an independant Detroit, MI. based automaker named Dual Motors.

The bodies were built by the Italian firm of Ghia and so the model name was a combination of the manufaturers name and the coachbuilders name. The car was inspired by an earlier Chrysler Corp. prototype called the Fire Arrow.

The Dual-Ghia had a Dodge 315 cubic engines and Powerflite transmissions. At $7600.00 plus dollars these were pretty pricey cars for their time. Production seems to have been around 100 cars for this model. But that number may have covered a number of years.

This is one of the many great antique and classic cars and trucks we saw and snapped photos of during the 2002 ACD Festival weekend in Auburn, IN.
