1989 Dodge Dakota Convertible Pickup

These were the only factory convertible sport pickup trucks at the time.

This 1989 Dodge Dakota Sport 4X4 Pickup Truck has the 3.9 litre Magnum V6 engine, and there is a roll bar behind the seat.

The Dodge Dakota Convertible Pickup Truck was made from 1989 to 1991. They were converted from regular cab bodies by American Sunroof Corporation.

Dakota Convertibles were available with a 2.5 litre 4 or a 3.9 litre 6 cylinder engine.

Production seems to have been about 2,800 in 1989, 1,000 in 1990, and only a handfull in 1991.
