Simulated air scoops on the rear fenders were an option
on the 1969 Super Bee.
Inside a bench seat was standard equipment. The Super Bee shown here
has a 383 cubic inch V8 and a 4 speed manual transmission connected
to a 3.23:1 Sure Grip differential.
A peek under the hood shows the Ramcharger Air Induction system. This
system directed air from the hood scoops through the air cleaner. The
air cleaner surround, or plenum, was attached to the underside of the
hood. This was an option on cars equipped with the 383 cubic inch engine,
but it was standard on cars with the optional 426 Hemi V8 engine.
