This is a 1956 DeSoto Fireflite Sportsman two door hardtop. DeSoto used the Sportsman name for both 2 and 4 door hardtops in 1956.

The Sportsman name appears on the rear fender along with a V8 emblem. The Fireflite series name is just behind the front wheel well opening.

The badge on the roof between the side and rear windows says "DeS".
