1929 DeSoto Roadster

DeSoto hit the streets for the first time in August of 1928 with this and a variety of other body style being marketed as 1929 models.

They were apparently a hit with the auto buying public. This great looking rumble seat roadster gives an idea of why. The front and rear bumpers and spare tire were optional.

An inline six cylinder 174 cubic inch engine provided 55hp.
