1970 Chevy
Monte Carlo
The Chevy Monte Carlo was a new line for 1970. It was a long hood,
short rear deck personal luxury coupe built on a 116 inch wheelbase
chassis.
A two door hardtop was the only body syle offered in the Monte carlos
line. Standard equipment included was power disk brakes and power steering.
There were a total of 15 exterior colours and 5 vinyl top colours to
choose from.
You could choose from 5 different engines from the standard 350 cubic
inch, 250 hp Turbo-Fire V8 to the 454 cubic inch, 360 hp Turbo-Jet V8
offered with the SS package.
This particular car has the 350 cubic inch, 300 hp V8 and a Turbo Hydromatic
350 transmission.
Other factory options on this car include 15"x7" rally wheels,
power windows, misty turquoise exterior colour and white halo vinyl
roof.
