1964 Chevy Impala SS Convertible

Even the 1964 Chevy Impala SS convertible was available with a six cylinder engine. A 195hp, 283 c.i.d V8 was the base V8 engine.

Optional V8 engines included 250, 300 or 340hp 327 ci.d. V8s as well as 400 and 425hp 409 c.id. V8s.

The six cylinder, 283 V8 and 327 V8s were available with either manual or automatic transmissions.

The 409 c.i.d V8 engines were only available a manual transmission.
