1940 Chevy Pullman Deluxe

The 1940 Chevrolet Pullman Deluxe "Sloper" coupe is from Australia. The back seat folds down, giving access to the trunk from inside the car.

The spare tire is in a small compartment under the trunk floor and is accessed through the small hatch below the trunk lid.

The Pullman DeLuxe came standard with radio, aerial and electric wipers.

Only 149 Chevy sloper's were built in 1940. These cars were sold in low numbers by Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Vauxhall. The combined production numbers for all makes totaling just over 9000 for this body style from 1935 to 1941.
