1964 Cadillac Sedan DeVille

The 1964 Cadillac was only slightly restyled. The most obvious change may have been the addition of a slight peak in the rear fender/tailight and rear bumper ends.

This Cadillac is one of the cars we saw at the Heart of Illinois Car Show in Peoria, IL on July 20, 2008.

Power for the Cadilac came from a 429 c.i.d V8 engine rated at 340hp. A three speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission was standard.

These were big cars with a wheelbase of 129.5 inches, an overall length of 223.5 inches and a weight of 4,575 pounds.

The four door, four window, hardtop Sedan Deville was the best selling of the 1964 Cadillac line. The base price for this model was $5,663.00.

The small script at the trailing edge of the rear fenders identified the DeVille models.

The DeVille was one step up from the entry level series 62 models.
