1949 Buick Roadmaster
Estate Wagon
The Roadmaster Estate Wagon was the top of the line Buick station wagon
in 1949.
These were luxury cars with leather upholstery and mahogany trim inside.
Full carpeting was a standard feature and included the cargo area.
On the outside, four vents on the front fenders were a visual difference
from the lower cost Super Estate Wagon. Rear wheel fender skirts were
standard equipment.
1949 Buick Roadmasters came standard with a 320 cubic inch, 150 horsepower,
inline eight cylinder engine and Dynaflow automatic transmission
