1963 Ford Thunderbird

This is a very original 1963 Thunderbird convertible. It has been fitted with a Tonneau cover which can be seen in the rear view photo shown below.

In the interior photo you can see the control switches for the optional power windows, they are located on the console, just ahead of the storage compartment between the front seats.

As this car is shown here, with the added Tonneau and optional Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels this convertible looks essentially like the Sport Roadster Thunderbird also offered in 1963.

In 1963 slightly over 5900 Thunderbird convertibles were sold while only 455 of the Roadster model were sold.
