1958 Ford Thunderbird

The year 1958 brought a whole new Thunderbird. Not only was it much larger, but for the first time the T-Bird was a four passenger car.

The hardtop roofline resembled that of the Ford Skyliner retractable hardtop convertibles.

The T-Bird name appeared on the front fenders. Five sets of hash marks appeared on a spear like protrusion that started on the doors and ran back to the rear bumper.

The grille was a mesh panel. A wire mess patterned panel was also found behind the taillaights adding a nice touch of design continuity.
