1956 Ford Thunderbird

In 1956 the Ford Thunderbird was again offered with both a folding convertible top and a removeable hardtop.

The spare tire was relocated to outside the trunk using a continental kit arrangement, as shown in the picture below. This meant the rear bumper guards were also done away with, and the exhaust was rerouted.
