1988 Avanti Convertible

The 1988 Avanti convertible was was built on a Chevy Monte Carlo chassis had a GM 305 c.i.d. V8 engine and 4 speed automatic transmission.

A 25th Anniversary Edition had a more powerful supercharged engine that developed 250hp compared to the normal engines 170hp.

In 1988 Avanti offered the convertible, regular coupe on a 109 inch wheelbase.

A larger Luxury Sport Coupe rode on a 117 inch wheelbase.
