![]() 1964 Studebaker Avanti CoupeThis 1964 Studebaker Avanti Coupe has the round headlight bezels, indicating it was produced early in the model year. Later 64s had square headlight bezels. Studebaker quit building the Avanti at the end of 1964 when they stopped building cars in South Bend, Indiana. The small badge just behind the front wheel says Supercharged, indicating that there is an R2 supercharged 289 c.i.d., 289hp V8 engine under the hood. I saw this car at an Orphan Car Show in Rogers, Minnesota on August 18, 2002.
