1969 AMC AMX

The 1969 AMC AMX 2 passenger sport coupe continued into pretty much unchanged.

It was still the only other mass produced 2 passenger sports coupe built in the USA other than the Corvette.

The base AMX engine was a 290 c.i.d. V8, other engines included a 343 c.i.d V8 and a 390 c.i.d. V8.

Bucket seats were standard.

The AMX still rode on a 97 inch wheelbase with a 117 inche overall length.

I saw this cool collector car at one of the NW Metro Cruise Ins at the Dennys Retaraunt in Rogers, MN on May 26, 2004.
