1970 Dodge Coronet R/T

The original R/T's were sold as Road and Track in 1967. It then eventually became know as the R/T.

They came with 440 cid engines with 375 hp. Actual estimates by magazines put it close to 500 hp.

With an automatic transmission you could hold the brake and push the throttle and then slightly release the brake, the car would not move and the tires would spin free. You could then rev the engine as high as you dared and smoke the whole area. It was the only way to get any traction.
