Black River Falls Fire Deptpartment Car Show

We had a chance to stop by this show on our way back from the Automotion show in Wisconsin Dells.

Among the collector cars and trucks there was a good variety from the 30s to the 70s.

There was also a very cool 1988 Chevy S10 pickup that had been converted to run of 20 batteries. While this might not exactly be a "collector" vehicle, it sure was interesting.

According to te window card this truck can run 60 65 miles on a charge. One of the cooler points on this truck is that 16 of the batteries are located under the bed, which has been modified to tilt up for battery access. The other 4 batteries were located under the hood.
