Car Show in Brookings SDJune 10, 2007Brookings, SD This was a great day for an antique, classic and collector car show in the park, Nice sunny day, and not to hot.
The 52 Caddy is a really neat car and well deserving of the pride the owner shows in it. I like early cars, so the Model T Ford was a pleasure to check out. The 64 Plymouth sedan is, in my opinion, what cars in America may be all about. These are the type of cars that haul us to the grocercy store, to church, and to work and back every day. I like pretty much all cars, but I have a real soft spot in my heart for the family sedans and station wagons that played such an important role in the motoring lives of so many families. It was nice to see the 1962 Corvair Ramp side pickup truck was. That's only the second Rampside I've seen in the last seven years worth of car shows. Check out the rest of the cars shown here to get a better idea of what a nice show this was. * Also shown in the Photo Galleries section.
