Center of the Nation: All Car Rally

This was a two day event with a cruise-in downtown on Friday night and a show in the city park on Saturday.

I spent more time at the car show on Saturday, which drew a fair number of antique, collector and special interest cars and trucks, a few of which are shown here.

The 57 Chevy Belair Sport Sedan 4 door hardtop was nice to see. That is a body style that has a lot to offer as a collector car, including being a bit easier to get in and out of the back seat. You get style and convenience at what is often a more modest cost compared to a similar 2 door hardtop.

The 56 Ford Customline Victoria 2 door hardtop is a model not often seen at shows. Nice looking car. The little stylized Thunderbird emblem on the front fenders indicates a 292 V8 engine under the hood.
