4th. Annual Hooters Hot Rod Weekend at Gulfport Dragway.
(1 mile South of I-10 MS. Exit 31) Open to all vehicles.
Friday.....Ol' Skool Nostalgia Street Drag Racing (we use a traffic light) Swap Meet, Vendors, Friday-night Cruise-in Party...LIVE BAND, 50/50, some awards and prizes

Saturday.... Top 50 Car Show, Chili Cook off, Music, Games, 50/50, Open track for drags (yah' you can have your girlfriend in the car!) Awards & Blessing of the Rods by CMA. Saturday-night party with the Psycho DeVilles

Sunday... Hot Rod Church and a See-Ya'-Later Party includes dog-n-burgers and other stuff.
One Price to get in $15 per person at the gate. one (1) day or the Weekend and that includes all inside activities ... On site camping available (that costs a little more depending on what your sleeping in.) Gates open Friday at 3 pm. Saturday at 9 am. Sunday at 9 am. Free Vendor setup

“CRUSING FOR A WISH”
“CRUSING FOR A WISH” is the 8th Annual Spring Car Show of the Magnolia Cruisers of Jones County, MS. It will be held March 29, 2008 at South Central Place (old Wal-Mart), Highway 15 North, Laurel, MS.

The show sponsors the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It is an open car show with participant judging. Magnolia Cruisers’ vehicles will not be judged.

Entry fee is $20. Registration is from 8 AM to 10:30 AM. Driver’s meeting is at 10:45 AM. Judging is from 10:45 AM to 12 Noon. Awards will be given at 2 PM. There will be door prizes, 50/50 drawing, games, food & drink, live music, and family fun.

A drawing will be held for a stainless steel Bar-B-Q grill with the proceeds going to Make-A-Wish. Tickets are now on sale and will be on sale at the show.
