March 20, 2010 Event Hours: 8 Am until 4 PM Event description: The date for the 6th Annual Cops and Rodders Car/Motorcycle Show and Driver Safety Fair has been set for March 20, 2010. It will be held at the Atlanta Expo Center North, 3650 Jonesboro Rd. SE, Atlanta, Ga. 30354, exit #55 on I-285. The show will open at 8 AM and go to about 4 PM. This is one of the few all indoor Car Shows in the Metro Atlanta Area, with over 150 Award Plaques and Trophies given away. We promote the Driver Safety Fair to all ages of Drivers, but especially to younger TEEN drivers again this year, a reward will be given to all TEENAGE Drivers completing all Driver Safety Challenges. This year the Blue Knights {police motorcycle club} will assist with the show, which will include more organizational assistance and adding new motorcycle classes for judging. We will have more Vendors for the Car and Motorcycle enthusiast and hopefully more Public Safety events and displays to engage spectators. There will be food and fun challenges for all ages. As always, we will have one of the few shows in the Southeastern U.S. of Active and Retired Emergency Vehicles, along with Classics, Antiques, Street Rods, Rat Rods, Tuners, Low Riders, Pick-ups and Motorcycle classes Last year, we had over 252 cars to register and to be judged, and raised over $6K for Georgia Special Olympics from this event. Please remember that this event is not funded by the Atlanta Police Department, it depends solely on outside support and volunteers. All proceeds from the Cops & Rodders Car Show and Driver Safety Fair go to Georgia Special Olympics that day. Event Fees: Entry Fee Per Vehicle is $20.00, No Pre-Registration, Spectators are Free with any Donation to Georgia Special Olympics. Contact Info: Lt. Dan Wade, 404 209-5260, voice mail
