The Connecticut MG Club proudly announces plans for it’s annual
sports and antique auto show, BRITISH BY THE SEA. The 2010 show will
take place on SUNDAY, June 6th at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford,
Connecticut. More than 350 vehicles are expected to be on display and
competing for prizes in 32 classes. Such famous British Marques as MG,
Triumph, Lotus, TVR, Rover, Morgan, Sunbeam, Austin Healey, Cooper,
Rolls Royce and Jaguar will be on display. British trucks and motorcycles
will also be included in the show.
The featured Marque for British by the Sea this year is SUNBEAM, a noted
British manufacturer of sports cars and sedans dating from the 1920s,
with two famous models of two seater sports cars, known as the Alpine
and Tiger, produced by the Rootes Group from 1953 until 1968.
