Saturday, October 24, 2009 At The National Museum of Funeral History, 415 Barren Springs Drive, Houston, TX (Near Airtex and I45 North) Rain date is set for November 7th, same times Benefiting: Star of Hope, DePelchin Children’s Center, Houston Food Bank, and The Shriner’s Burn Hospital Goodie Bags, Dash Plaques, and T-shirts to the first 75 pre-registered cars – includes 1 ticket to the Museum in the goodie bag Door Prizes n Costume Contest n Live DJ n50/50 n Silent Auctions. Food - Drinks - Arts - Crafts and Specialty Vendors will be on the parking grounds All makes and models are welcomed, from 1900 to 2009 Pre-registration is $25.00 per car, and the cut off date will be October 15th. Entry fee on day of the show is $30.00 and you can register from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. 30 Judged Classes, including Classic Car and Truck, Convertible, Corvette, Camaro, Mustang, Custom, Import, Motorcycle, Muscle, Open Class, Original, Race Car, Street rods, and New Cars and Trucks. Special Trophies will be awarded for Best Engine, Club Choice, Sponsor’s Choice, Best of Show and for the “Scariest Mode of Transportation !!” Judging will start at 11:00 AM and will end by 2:00 PM, Awards will be given out around 3:00 pm The Car Show is open to the public, the museum is a separate event that requires additional admission tickets, and only people showing their cars will get a discount on the tickets to the Museum, which will be $2.00 off the price of the ticket(s) on the day of the car show only. There are Museum signs on the southbond feeder of I45, south of Richey, and there will be car show signs displayed.) Please no Contemporary Gothic Style / Type Costume at the show. Children are free to dress up who they want to be. Adults must be dressed appropriately and non threatening or outfits that would scare small children. No pets, skate boards or anyone riding bicycles in the car show area. Only registered cars will be allowed in the show area.
